Expected the Unexpected
Rule No. 1 in life and everything we do, is to epect the unexpected. Sometimes when we plan for everything we possibly can ever imagine, we tend to up with the weirdest and most unexpected event that we can never ever plan or forsee.

Our goalkeeper is out of the squad for the rest of the season, due to the fact that his wife has delivered a healthy baby boy. The birth was unforeseen as she will only be due in 2 months not now. And here, when they deliver its a lot of travelling as they live in small towns and hence he will be taking leave for about 3 to4 months to be with the child and the wife. Hence we have a new goalie.

Well my criteria was very specific. He does not need to be the size of

Khan but at least he must be 1.85 M. He does not need to be bald like Balthez but at least not the hair of Totti, I do not need to have one that is more worried about his hair being messed up. And he does not need to score own goals for the other team like Spanish goalies. All he needs to do is to stand where he is suppose to, and not run to the midfield when he is feeling bored.

I found one, he is young but I guess at the moment we have to make do with whatever we have. Let us pray that he knows he is a goalie and not a defender like some goalies think they are. He is pretty powerful in his kicks, who knows he might score a goal from our end while kicking it to the oter half of the field. Yes who knows?

Adult Sponsers, Hmmmmmmm...
Yes we did not maintain the position we had, but dropping one position from the previous, its not a very big hoo-hah by my personal standards. We will have the last laugh like always!

Well since we did not do so badly in the last week, we have been hooked up by an adult entertainment sponser of a very particular fetish, Sadosim and Machoism in other words, S&M. They deal with mainly leather products and outfits to go with such a liking.

Please do not get me wrong, I am a non-biase person, in terms of individual choices, one can like males, females, both or maybe in some countries even sheeps and goats, SM is too (But I do frown upon MJ´s suspected liking). The sponser required my footballers to actually do a full centrefold spread of their outfits and gear for one for their annual calendar and anniversary issue. Or to have them post individually for the months of their birthdays in such attire. Or to have them modelled in one such fashion catwalk catered to such a crowd, during Mardis Gras. In return, we will not only get to keep the outfits,

we will get personal supplies as well, if we fancy any of their merchandise, along with, cash sponserships of XXXXXX figures.

However I am still thinking whether it will be a good image for any of them. In theory of public relations, any news will be good news be it bad publicity or good publicity, its still publicity. Many have cashed in bad publicity Monica L. had an offer óf 1M to be in Playboy, if i remember correctly.

But I do not want to subject the players to such an act. As they are still young boys, and doing such things might affect them being bought by the type of clubs in future. Having a good reputation, clubs in Saudi will always take you. Having a bad one, i guess only clubs in USA will consider having you on the squad.

I replied the sponsers and told the boys about the turn down of offer. They were relieved as they think wearing a leather g-string or thong, will greatly cut their jewels badly. Well, as long as we keep up our spirit and maintain our laughs, we will hear from Adidas or Puma one day. One fine day.

We are the Champions!
Simply marvellous! Absolutely fabulous! And boy did we make everyone notice us. Our pictures are on all front pages of websites and newspapers when we made a point we can play any game in any place and in any condition. Despite the fact we have been retaining our potential in order to show the world that soccer is more than just brawn, brains are involved too. And we did. We won. Home and away.

After that match we had a gift from our new sponser. they have agreed to provide us with humane and proper set of transportation if we stick to our position and not drop to anywhere after 10th position. Well, now that we have some bargaining power, I told them I am not interested in threats from sponsers and we play for passion not for wheels, and asked them to bugger off and not speak to us like we are children. Lo nd behold, they came back and apologise, saying its all the corporate big boys calling the shots but now we have put them into place. They will be sponsoring us for 1 year from date of signing. And at my doorstep I seen beauty beyond its finest.

Picture this. All carpeted flooring. Major water lavatories fit for any form of world issue congress. In built showers. Fridge and heating equipment for small cooking. Microwaves, the industrial type that ensures

non-drying food products when instructions are followed. Make shift chairs into beds enough for a squad of 15, like the ones that are in airbuses, for 1st class airlines. Wardrobes and lockers for individual passengers. Sick bay area of 4 beds of complete luxury with white sheets and goose feathered pillows. All seats come with individual tv monitors and world class entertainment. Internet portals and a privte office for yours truly. MOST importantly. Air conditioned.

And our kind sponsers are giving us 2 of such fine beauties. As they forsee we will be invited to play international. And these beauties will be able to ram up to travel round the world and back. Moreover if it breaks down immediate replacement worldwide guarantee.

Well done. We came so far to be where we are and we intend to be making more noise. And we will not stop achieving impact and this is not a wow factor, it will be the facts. That is not just words, its a promise.

Whilst Stocks Last!
Great weekend like I said, it was good job done for the boys. New shoes are on the way together with proper soccer socks thrown in as samples. The Chinese manufacturer is considering about marketing the shoes with proper socks.

We have officially built a merchandise hut to sell our products. Well its an extra revenue to us and perhaps we can franchise it to other states once our team gets promoted to the higher leagues.

I took all the headshots of the players with my digicam and wrote a short passage or biography on them. As they are still greenhorns, their soccer history is not much of a journal but at least if they become "Beckham" one day, Diamono Lounga will be well-known as their stepping stone to fame.

I too upgraded the sound system to have a

proper mini hi-fi system, to create a better atmosphere in the stadium. I think I will create a latin atmosphere this weekend to spice the mood of the players.

Products up for sale will be the headshots of the players and on the back will be their life history to date. Each photo is signed and authenticated for future bidding on ebay or better prospects for any investment opportunities. Along with the photos it comes with a grass wrist band made by the players' girlfriends or wives as a gift of token, it is said to give luck to the buyer. Will think of more merchandise in the meantime.

But i did fly in some popcorn to be sold at halftime along with some lager. Hopefully they will like warm lager like the lads at home. A good warm pint will make my day, anytime.

The Power Of All Vs The Power of One
Spectacular weekend of amazing goals! Although we lost 1 game away, drew 1 and won 1 home game, they were indeed something we should be proud of. We are indeed quality champions, not just pretty faces on the cover of any magazine.

This only proves that Chinese shoes do not last more than 3 games, and I hope they will bring us more new ones, coz with the awesome goals we made, the shoes were pretty much worn out. I wonder how does one walk in such shoes to scale the great wall of china and back without reaching the soles of the feet? Well the manufacturer claimed that is possible, I seriously doubt it.

After such a rewarding effort and response from the fans, we have good news to report. Sales of the next 3 games are currently SOLD OUT! Great thing for the revenue: we are looking 2000 proper seats (well by the standard of stone benches at least its proper) all gone by this week is awesome. I wonder who will be in the audience in the next few games. Now i am starting to think of merchandises to be sold in the next games, so we can actually save some money to have a mascot running around during halftime. I think the crowd is getting bored with Queen's "We will Rock You" blasting out of my Laptop's sound system which is widely improved by

external PC speakers with a mini booster. Perhaps I will make the boys take some candid shots and I will print them out with my laser printing and have them signed by the players will be a pretty good investment for the audience. For I know, we will be number one soon and such laser quality print outs might be bidded in ebay one day, only God will know i guess.

We won. We won not in terms of goals or points or even the position of the table. We won the team spirit and cooperation much needed in any organisation or league. Without the team's effort pulling together as one machine, we would not have made such a difficult team for the top team who only won us by 1 goal. Supreme teamwork is the key to anything in life. In a marriage, in a business deal, in a school or even in a simple project, team effort and goal is very essential to see success at the end of the ardous journey. We will see the our harvests and it will be a good one. I am sure of it.

Things that make you go HMMmmMmmm..
Well not a very applaudable weekend, in fact let's face it rather much of a disappointment equivalent to the new singer of InXs. The results were rather amazing in some ways, being able to win and yet being able to be treated like a third class citizen of the green pastures. Irony.

However, not all efforts gone with the wind, a sponser has gladly called and displayed indepth sponser for our beverages! I have sent a sample of the beverage to UK's and USA's labotaries. We cannot take chances these days and when things happen we cannot feign ignorance because we do not have the professional Hollywood skills of Mr. Clinton.

Reasons for my suspicions is mainly because the drink is produced in

some small island around the south of America, and yet imported by some agency in some part of Italy. And the strange thing is the drink is named some kind of COLA and yet the colour of the beverage is milky white under the sun and yet clear when its frozen. Strange thing is, I don't think its very appertizing to consume yet alone having the boys drink it every hour during training.

I am proud to say our players and me, are not associated with any form of illegal associations or organisations and we certainly do not wish to be in the near future. Moreover, the players' healths is my utmost concern, I need them as much as they need me to make the right choices. This is what they call, being part of the family.

Nice Guys Finish Last?
Perfect games welll near perfect games for the weekend. The boys seem to be gearing up their act since they do not wish to walk in their worn out socks. But good news is that we have sponsers for the shoes, and thank God for Chung Hwa. Yes they are not NIKE nor REEBOK, but at least they are shoes and from China and they claim they are up and coming brand. Moreover beggars cannot be choosers.

Next few weeks will be critical for us, as we are going to rock Division 2 and make some noise so that more reputable

brands will start to take notice again. My personal ambition is to be up with money for the team and enough to buy international players, perhaps have the cash account like Inter Milan. But I guess that dream will be far from reality at the moment.

I have the faith and the plan to be number one. But to carry out such plans I will need the faith of my players. And they being the nice guys of the league, I want them to finish first this year, and never the last ever again. May God be with us and lady luck on our side.

The River of Pain and Pride
Yes a smashing weekend indeed and for our opponents not us! Once again we face a terrible defeat with people scoring our posts like it was Christmas. The goalkeeper was worst than any 16 yr old in a junior league, but who can blame him when he is only 15!

The whole team including the 2nd leg was down with serious diarrhoea including yours truly. I have already warn them not to swim and play in the same river which is also used as the elephants public lavatory. But boys will be boys, as usual, they didn't heed any advice and i heard some swallowed a couple of gallons when there was mass dunking.

Some of them had major fever, along with major skin problems. I had to fly in a personal friend from India (well India was the cheapest I can find at the moment

due to inadequate monetary sponsorships), to assist with the medication. Hence the games were played by the sons of the soccer players who are in training for the 3rd leg of the team; yes we have a U21 team but they are still in training.

Well it was good effort at least now i can segment out who should be playing in 10 years to come. Once again, the phones had stopped ringing for sponsorships. The boys were very down and guilty. But I know they didn't wish for this to happen. Hence I told them, the best is yet to be, as long as we strive, we will always be victors again!

Tradition For Winners
Great games during the week with the 3 smashing goals the boys made with utmost vigor and pride. Well done chaps! Now sponsers are starting to discuss possibilities for partnerships and we are looking at more than the Durex catagory.

As promised, I told the chaps that if they make headlines, I will do the deed of traditional celebration that has been in the club for years. That is to have a go in the river with the chaps after the fabulous game. The water was brilliant initially, as they threw me into the river without any warning. I had no choice but to act as though it was sheer enjoyment, but I guess we all know it was not an experience comparable to the waters

for the meditarranean. The experience was ceased immediately when I saw an elephant, doing his business in the opposite riverbank and strange brown objects were floating towards our bank, poor ele probably had bad breakfast. I immediately jumped out and told the boys that is the furthest I would go for them, sorry lads!

We will fight on, and win. Even if the scores did not tally, I feel that as long as the spirit is there, victory prevails in all of us! The boys are indeed the true passion of soccer.

FIRST ROUND FOR THE BOYS WITHOUT SHOES
Well we ended with a draw, which is relatively well done, with the boys running the field with no shoes.

As we have mentioned earlier, due to the extremely inaccurate forescast of the weather, our sponsers have kindly disregard us as honorable. Therefore, Puma has gladly took away the shoes from the boys. Thank God for Christmas and UPS, I managed to get them socks i had as presents from all these years, and the boys were relatively protected hence it was a humane match.

They were fired up for the match mainly because i told

them we had to win back the sponsers if not they are expected to walk from stadium to stadium should the beat-up 1970s psychedeallic love van breaks down. And they put up a well-applaused game with the spirit that kept figting on until the final whistle.

Although we may not be the top of the table, but we can see from the glint in their eyes, we will be one day. Its always good to have the motivation to move up then the desire to be in a comfort zone. Champions are those who keeps trying to be number one, not those who thinks they are.

Winter in Austria
Its strange when its winter in Austria. Although there is not even one drop of snow and not even hail, its very cold. We wanted to have a friendly match against Austrian´s national team, but due to very inaccurate snow forecast the match was cancelled. The sponsers were not very happy about such cancellations, hence getting money for free flights and hotels for our next travel will be a slight problem. We will have to search for other airlines coz i do not think they want to be with us due to a very interesting conversation filled with alot of unmenationable words

even for the Webster´s. So we are open for new sponsers for everything, from water to even socks. All kinds of contributions will be very much appreciated.

Back to the silly forecast of Austria. They have snow in Melbourne but in Austria the mountains are like summer the only thing that is missing are probably eldewise, like the ones they have in sound of music. i wonder how they can ski, when there is no snow, only green green grass of home. they can ski but cannot have a soccer game. Probably the lads are drinking themselves silly during this festive period.
